Welcome to the Tuesday Tour of America website
The purpose of this website is to begin reducing our total reliance on email as a source of information for members. Although we cannot yet completely move away from using email, and may never be able to, this website will allow you to easily access a lot of league information.
Founders’ Message
Our newer members should know that the TTA has existed since 1994, and many of its original members are still playing today.
Running the TTA requires a nearly year-round commitment, which becomes intense during the spring and summer months. The TTA has existed and will always exist as a benevolent dictatorship. It cannot survive any other way. Members are encouraged to make suggestions and offer help of course, but the final word on all matters rests with the Founders.
The TTA has no Bill of Rights, and no one is forced to play with us. But if you do play in a TTA event, you are entitled to fair play on the course, hopefully a friendly foursome, and a few beverages afterward. And hopefully you won’t take your golf too seriously.
The TTA has grown tremendously in recent years. We have become too large for some of the most popular courses on our schedule (Green Lakes and Tuscarora to name a few). Some courses cannot provide us with enough tee times or carts. When this happens, unfortunately not everyone that had requested to play will be able to, and teams are assembled taking into account things like seniority, frequency of play and, later in the season, the FOSC standings.
In closing, please keep in mind that the TTA is all about friendships and not about the small amount of money you might win in prize money or skins. Please help us keep this the most friendly golf tour in America!
Happy Golfing!
